Keesha Vines M.A., LCPC, NCC
MD Approved Supervisor
My name is Keesha Vines, M.A., Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor.
I became passionate about mental health and substance abuse treatment over 15 years ago. My education and professional background in both the mind and the body gives me a unique and effective approach to counseling. I work to provide clients with tailored treatment plans that can be integrated into their daily lives.
I have many years of counseling and management experience across a vast variety of treatment settings to include: private practice, inpatient substance abuse/mental health and community-based services. A holistic approach is utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how the mind, spirit and body are interconnected. I utilize a blend of Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and psycho-education to treat individuals, couples and families. I am a professional member of the American Counseling Association and a board certified member of the National Board of Certified Counselors.
In addition to my license, I hold several certifications. I continue to educate myself by attending national and local conferences, keeping up with current therapy research, and seeking supervision.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of North Texas and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Chicago School of Professional Psychologists.
